Scott lives in New Westminster, British Columbia with his wife and two sons. Nine years ago Scott started fly fishing for Steelhead. His first day on the Squamish River searching for Winter Run fish was all it took, he was hooked. With a new family on the way, time on the river became limited, and as a way to keep learning about fishing, Scott picked up fly tying. The transition from Steelhead flies to Classic Atlantic Salmon Flies was a slow one but for the past five years, Scott has immersed himself into learning the history and techniques of tying Classic Atlantic Salmon Flies. Always learning, Scott enjoys talking about fly tying whenever he gets a chance.
